Front Of House Specialist (FOH)

• Mix Sound for the GHC Sunday morning services as well as the occasional event outside of Sunday mornings (Member meetings, Worship and Prayer Night, etc)

Audio Specialist

• Assist the FOH Engineer and the band with setting up the sound system on Sunday mornings at GHC (as well as occasional events outside of Sunday mornings)

Camera Operator

• Set up, and run the cameras on Sunday morning (as well as occasional events outside of Sunday mornings) for the livestream on the GHC website and social media channels

ProPresenter Specialist

• Run the ProPresenter song, sermon and announcement slides on Sunday mornings (as well as occasional events outside of Sunday mornings)

Live Stream Director

• Oversee the overall Live Stream production from a technical and aesthetic perspective.  Generally responsible for the overall visual, sound quality, and live switching for the livestream.  The Live Stream Director is also responsible for scheduling the live stream with our current live stream platforms.

Setup/Tear Down Specialist

• Setup/Teardown specialists will be responsible for Sunday morning Setup (pre service) and Teardown (post service) of the GHK classrooms, Engagement area, Hospitality area, and the Sound Production area. Specialist are also responsible for unloading and loading the trailer.

Connect Specialist

• The Connect Team is responsible for creating a comfortable, safe and inviting environment.

  Connect Specialists will welcome and acknowledge each attendee as they enter the building. Specialist will connect and engage with new guests before or after service. After service, the specialist will ensure new guests are introduced to any of the pastors, help submit the GH connect form and offer church information such as events, community groups, outreach opportunities, classes, etc.

  This team is also responsible for setting up and managing the coffee bar, managing the Mom’s Room and setting up the Connect area.

Prayer Minister

• The role of the prayer minister is to care for a person through prayer. Trained prayer ministers are able to privately pray for anyone who needs or wants prayer after our Sunday services. During COVID, we offer a Zoom breakout room for this prayer. Once we resume in-person gatherings, a prayer minister will be available to pray in with you in-person.

Teachers

• Teachers are responsible for creating an inviting, safe environment that provides the opportunity for children to hear God’s Word in fun, creative ways. Teachers will be given the Gospel Project for kids lesson plans that will provide the Bible story, games and craft. In GHK we are seeking to create a relationally based children’s ministry where younger children and their parents feel safe and where older children feel secure and comfortable to share at a deeper level. GHK teachers are not just filling a hole, but partnering with families and investing in our children. Class options include:
  • Toddlers
  • PreK
  • Lower Elementary
  • Upper Elementary

Nursery (ages: 6-23 months)

• Nursery attendants are responsible for creating a safe environment which sets the foundation in young hearts that church is a place for both learning and fun. Our Nursery is more than a babysitting service, it is the launching pad for nurturing the faith of the next generation. In the nursery, we seek to welcome children with nurture and prayer. In this way, our Nursery forms an integral beginning for our children’s ministry.

GHK Worship

• GHK Worship Leaders are responsible for leading the Toddlers and PreK kids in a time of worship. Leaders will sing to pre-recorded songs, so a beautiful singing voice is not necessary! Worship Leaders simply need to lead the kids with energy and enthusiasm! The Setup Team will set up the sound equipment before the service and tear it down following the service.
