Amazon Mission Trip | August 2023

We want to invite you to come serve on a mission’s trip in partnership with Justice & Mercy International along the Amazon River in Brazil! From August 9th-16th, we will be sleeping in hammocks on a river boat and working with pastors and church leaders in remote and rural villages along the Amazon River. As a team, we will be bringing much-needed encouragement and the love of Jesus by traveling to villages, sharing the gospel, leading worship services, playing soccer, facilitating small groups, organizing activities for children, visiting individual homes, and hosting medical clinics.

Our Grace Hill team will be led by Peter von Kahle who has been to the Amazon alongside JMI over 13 times since 2015 and currently serves on the Grace Hill Church Mission’s Committee.

ROOTS INITIATIVE

Grace Hill Family, please take time to watch the below video regarding The Roots Initiative. We believe it is time to financially prepare as a church to sink our roots into Herndon through acquiring a facility. To be clear, we have not identified a specific facility that we are pursuing at this time. This is about beginning the process of positioning ourselves financially for when an opportunity comes. SERVING NEEDS

We are in need of several more people to serve in our various Sunday morning teams. As a church, we need everyone to pitch in to help make our Sunday worship services happen without just a few people taking on the majority of the burden. THE TABLE

If you are interested in getting plugged into the life of Grace Hill, please make sure to sign-up for “The Table”. This class is a 3-week lunch hosted by the leaders of Grace Hill Church at regular intervals immediately after our worship service on Sundays from 11:30am-12:30pm. For these three Sundays, we will provide you a lunch, watch your kids, and share with you everything there is to know about Grace Hill Church and how you can be involved. COMMUNITY GROUPS

At Grace Hill Church, we believe that community with one another is one of the primary ways that God has designed us to grow in Him, which is why we have carefully organized Grace Hill Community Groups to help carry out that design. Our desire is to see every single person who calls Grace Hill their home plugged in and richly thriving in a group this year.
