Melody von Kahle
Originally from South Carolina, Melody moved to Northern Virginia with her family when she was 12. Growing up in a musical family, she spent much of her childhood singing alongside her parents and siblings, developing a love for worship and serving the church from an early age.
Throughout middle and high school, Melody enjoyed leading worship at youth camps. In college, she continued serving on her church’s worship team and alongside her dad at an airport chapel on Sunday mornings. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Music and Fine Art, she began volunteering full-time in worship ministry before stepping into full-time vocational ministry in 2016, bringing together her love for music, visual arts, and the church.
For Melody, music and creativity have always been more than just interests. They are meaningful ways to serve the church and point others to Jesus, a calling she hopes to continue pursuing for as long as the Lord allows.
Melody lives in a wonderfully chaotic historic home in downtown Leesburg with her husband, three kids, an Australian shepherd, a pacman frog, and a flock of chickens.
